Grilled Sirloin Steak and Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 100 g mushrooms
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 85g lean sirloin steak, trimmed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp coriander

Directions

  • Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium heat.
  • Brush the steak with 1/2 tsp olive oil.
  • Mix together the salt, pepper, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and coriander. Rub onto the steak.
  • Grill the steak to your desired doneness, 5 minutes per side for medium rare.
  • Remove the steak and let it rest. Meanwhile, toss the mushrooms with  olive oil, salt, pepper, and any other seasonings you like.
  • Place on the grill or grill pan until tender, about 4-5 minutes per side depending on size.
