How is Qvie Weight-loss plans different from other programs?
There are many factors that make Qvie Weight Loss Plan different from other programs, however the most significant is the high quality of protein used in our meal replacements. The protein provides a greater feeling of satiety and helps control hunger.

In fact, each meal replacement provides as much as nearly two counts of meat (12 grams per serving) with minimal calories, fat, and cholesterol. The meal replacements help the body maintain a higher metabolic rate during calorie restriction.

What are meal replacements?
Meal replacement are as per their name, products that you can use to substitute your normal meals.

It is a calorie controlled prepackaged product. It will supply the body with macronutrients in less calories.

How can Qvie meal replacements help me lose weight?
Simply, you will replace your normal meals with Qvie meals. Qvie meals will provide more protein, and less carbohydrates and fat, thus less calories.
How much weight can I expect to lose? Can you guarantee that I will lose this weight?
Weight loss depends on the program you follow, your BMI and your body fat percentage. It requires self-monitoring and an effort from your side. Not following the plan as per the instructions may influence the amount of weight loss.

On the Qvie Smart Plan, you can lose up to 1.5 kg per week.

On the Qvie Quick Start Plan, you can lose up to 2 kg per week.

On the Qvie Accelerate Plan, you can lose up to 2.5 kg per week.

On the Nursing Mom Plan, weight loss is as per the total calories consumed.

How much water do I need to drink?
At least 64 oz or 2 Liters of water (8 cups) daily.
How many calories will I be consuming?
The Smart Plan is a Low-Calorie Diet and you will be consuming 1,000 to 1,100 calories per day.

The Quick Start Plan is a Modified Very Low-Calorie Diet and you will be consuming 800-900 calories per day.

The Accelerate Plan is a Very Low-Calorie Diet and you will be consuming 700 calories per day.

The Nursing Mom Plan is a calorie-controlled plan, and you will be consuming around 1800 calories per day. However, this plan can be tailor made per person.

Will I maintain my weight loss? Or will gain all the weight back after some time?
There is no reason to put on weight if you stop the Qvie Plan as long as you follow a maintenance phase and after that you keep a healthy routine and control your portion size. if you maintain a wise approach to your choice of food. You can follow the Qvie Maintenance Phase Plan outlined in the Program Guide and you should be able to maintain the weight level you have achieved.
Can I use Qvie if I am pregnant?
No. If you are concerned about your weight during pregnancy, please consult your doctor. After giving birth, you may use Qvie to help you achieve a healthy weight loss.
Can I use Qvie if I am Breastfeeding?
Nursing mothers will require a special meal plan, that is why we do have the nursing mom plan. It is a calorie controlled well studied program that will help the new mommy to get in shape without compromising her Milk supply.
I have diabetes, is it safe to be on the Qvie Program?
The Qvie Smart Program is suitable for Type I & Type II Diabetes. However, you should consult your doctor before starting the program.

The Qvie Accelerate and Quick Start plans are suitable for Type II Diabetes, after consulting your doctor.

Do I have to visit a center to participate in the Qvie program?
No. We provide you foods to eat to lose weight from any web enabled location or you can give us a call! Simply order your Qvie Meals online or over the phone, and they are delivered right to your home or office. Plus, you have access to a world of support and weight loss nutrition tools right from the comfort of your computer.
Can I eat out while on the Qvie program?
On the quick start, smart plan, and nursing mom, you have a cooked meal to be consumed every day. This could be eaten in a restaurant if you are sticking to the portion size of your allowed meal. And it is important to make wise choices and follow the guide precisely.
Do I have to exercise to lose weight on the Qvie Weight Loss programs?

Qvie Weight loss plans do not require exercise to be effective.

It is not advised to practice any kind of rigorous physical activity while on the Quick Start and Accelerate plans. A light walk is always acceptable.

Regular physical activity is an important component to lifelong weight management, and overall health and wellness. At Qvie, we encourage our customers to achieve at least 150 minutes of moderately intense physical activity each week while working towards their weight loss goals.

 

Are there any side effects?
On the Qvie Smart plan and nursing mom plan there are no side effects.

On the Quick Start and Accelerate plans, some side effects are present for the first 3 days. You might face bad breath, constipation, diarrhea, headache, and fatigue.

Does the program offer other benefits besides weight loss?
For overweight individuals, losing weight (as little as 5% to 10% of initial body weight) can improve health by lowering high blood pressure, glucose levels and cholesterol levels, improved cardiovascular health, and reduced pain in weight-bearing joints.
Are there restrictions on who can use Qvie to lose weight?
People with certain conditions may not use the Qvie weight loss program; these include but are not limited to people who: are pregnant, have anorexia or bulimia, or have chronic kidney disease.
It is also not recommended for less than 18 years old.

When can I NOT follow a Qvie very low-calorie plan? (Quick Start and Accelerate)?
You are not allowed to follow a Quick start plan or an accelerate plan if you have any of the following conditions:

– Less than 18 years old
– Cancer or in metastatic phase.
– Bone fracture
– Taking corticosteroids.
– Have diabetes type I (insulin dependent)
– Have endocrinologic cause of obesity.
– Peptic ulcer disease, gastric or duodenal ulcers
– Hyperuricemia
– Inflammatory bowel disease
– Lithium treatment
– Liver disease (protein restriction in the diet)
– Mental Illness
– Myocardial infraction within the last 3 months
– Pregnant or breastfeeding
– Treatment with phenothiazines
– Renal insufficiency

Why Qvie plans are not allowed for less than 18 years old?
At this age you are in a growth phase and following a very low-calorie diet might affect your growth in a very negative way.
Can I have a cheat meal?
To reach your target, plan requires commitment and consistency. On our ketogenic plan, we have a limit on consumption of Carbohydrates of 50g per day. Once you exceed this limit, you need at least 3 days following the plan strictly so your body will enter again into full ketosis.

On the non-ketogenic plans, our nutrition consultant will guide you if you want to enjoy one meal every two weeks.

Why are fruits not allowed?
Fruits are very healthy, rich in vitamin, minerals, and antioxidants.
But as Qvie plans are very low carbohydrate and sugar, fruits are not a part of the plans.
On the maintenance phase fruits will be incorporated again.
Do I have to eat the portions of the cooked meal all at the same time?
You do not have to eat the portion of the cooked meal all at the same time.
You can divide it and consume it as per your preference if you are sticking to the quantity.
Can I drink coffee?
Caffeinated beverages are better to be avoided as it dehydrates your body.
We usually allow a maximum of 1 cup of black coffee per day. If you want to drink more, it is better to have a decaf one.

Once on the plan you will a receive a full support with weekly follow ups. Our nutrition consultant and program manager are happy to assist you.
What do you mean by restricted and unrestricted items?
Qvie products are divided into 2 categories. Restricted and unrestricted.
The difference between them is their content of carbohydrates and total calories.
The restricted Qvie meals are higher in calories and carbohydrates.
How long will I need to stay on this program?
Once you have met your weight loss goals, you can transition to the Maintenance Phase.
